Cheddar Gorge

Fabulous site for a short stop over on our way to damage Barton Woolacombe

We left Freshwater East on Saturday. After a pretty hairy drive through some very small Somerset villages we arrived at Cheddar for 3 nights on Saturday 12th May  2018. Although we had not picked Cheddar for any other reason, apart from solely as a stop over it would appear according to my sisters that I have been here on numerous occasions as a child – who knew!!! We have had great walks with the Dude however we think he is missing the seaside, as today he tried a kamikaze dive into the river in the middle of Cheddar! The weather has been perfect and our tans are well on the way. We pack up tomorrow and head for Woolacombe for five nights and to watch the royal wedding, Union Jack bunting ready to adorn the van.
